Julia Walderzak grew up struggling with childhood obesity and understood the detrimental effects it has both physically and emotionally on a child. Not being one for competitive sports she tried alternative ways to stay physically fit. Throughout her youth she managed to shed the extra weight and shortly after she graduated college she received a 4th degree red belt in Tai Kwon Do. Now she maintains a very healthy lifestyle through circuit training, yoga and has received her certifications in Zumba and Zumbatomic. Julia received a BFA in Theatre Performance at Hofstra University. She continued her graduate Education at NYU studying Event Management and went on to produce specialty events including; Product Launches, Corporate Events, Editor Events, Book Signings, Charity Events and Special Occasion Parties. With the opening of H2K Julia is combining her passion for events and fitness while addressing a critical need in the community. H2K will help battle childhood obesity, instill fitness values at an early age and encourage already fit families to stay fit and have fun.
Zumba Kids junior combines fast and slow rythems for children ages 4-7 yrs using an aerobic/fitness approach. With a combination of dance, games, and peer performance your child will learn leadership, respect, team work, pride, confidence, responsibility, cordination, balance, and be able to express their inner creativity.
Yogi Tots ages 3-5 yrs introduces children to yoga through games, music and storytelling. Yoga postures, movement and simple breathing exercises are integrated into each 45 minute session.
Yogis grades 6-8 is a fun and energetic yoga class, tailored for the Middle School student. Students will be brought through a wide range of yoga postures while learning about the importance of breathing and the principles of yoga. Partner poses and stress reduction techniques will be the focus of the class. Each 60 minute session will integrate movement, journaling, relaxation and time for sharing.
This fun and energetic yoga class is designed specifically for young adults. While it is still as challenging as an adult Vinyasa class the music is upbeat, hip and specifically selected to create a unique and dynamic atmosphere.
Kids Cardio Kickboxing will teach your child self-defense, self-confidence and discipline in a fun and safe environment. Kickboxing will improve flexibility, coordination, strength, concentration and allow them to work out any daily frustrations.

Join H2K during winter break for our super fun and fit Zumba/Kick Camp. Each session starts with opening mediation, 30 Min Kickboxing class, healthy Snack, 30 Min Zumba Party, Games, Craft and Closing Meditation.
Zumba Fitness Party-combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobic/fitness approach to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits.
Moms can stretch their body with their baby in front of them. Moms are free to feed their baby, change their diapers or comfort them during the class. Moms are encouraged and guided to involve the baby during the class. Moms are taught a variety of stretches which can be used while feeding.
Prenatal classes are specifically designed for pregnant women to address many general problems of pregnancy like fatigue, leg cramps, nausea, lower back pain, sciatica, swelling of ankles and spasms. Classes include strengthening of pelvic floor muscles, inner thigh muscles and hip opener postures. The session ends with guided meditation and various breathing techniques which can be used to manage labor pain.
Yin Yoga is a still and cooling practice. Start by stretching just the right amount and then relax into the pose. It’s a perfect complement to other forms of dynamic yoga. It increases range of motion, detoxifies and keeps joints moist and supple. All levels are welcome.
Mama Ballroom is a unique group class designed for expectant or new moms who believe in prenatal and postnatal fitness, and who want to have fun doing it. Mama Ballroom provides valuable stimulation and development for your little one. Dance with your baby in utero or in a carrier! Mama Ballroom is designed for moms with babies up to 1 year old or until baby can no longer be held in a carrier.
Michelle Ormes has been a passionate practitioner of yoga for more than 12 years and is a certified yoga teacher for both children and adults. She believes in the power of yoga to transform your life and to give all ages the tools they need to be strong, relax and thrive. She is passionate about empowering children to feel confident in their bodies and to recognize their unique and beautiful gifts. As a mother of two young boys, she brings her nurturing personality and love of fun to every class!

Shari RYT 200hr, completed her hatha yoga training at Yoga For Life with Abby Schwab and yin yoga training with Josh Summers. She has been practicing and receiving the benefits of yoga since 2000 and meditation since 1978. Shari is also the founder of Cocoa Plum Nutrition.

She went on to receive her 4th degree red belt in Tai Kwan Do and won 2 gold medals in sparing and 2 gold medals in form. She later received her certification in Zumba, Zumbatomic (Kids Zumba) and is an AFAA certified Kickboxing instructor. Julia believes that no matter what stage you are in life it’s never too late to change your habits into healthy ones.
Monica, the founder and owner of Mama Ballroom has been a ballroom teacher since 2000. Besides teaching, she has also managed studios and has been a professional and pro competitor. She got right back into dancing 8 weeks after giving birth to her first child, Oscar. Oscar was both content to have the visual and audio stimulation and he liked the action of being danced around in the carrier. Both in the belly and out, Oscar and Monica seemed to be having such a good time whenever they were dancing. Monica thought to herself, “every mom and soon to be mom needs this!” and Mama Ballroom was born.
