H2K’s new home is in Arlington at the Ready, Set, Kids! family enrichment center. We have a spacious studio, which is perfect for all of our fitness classes and birthday parties! The center is designed with families in mind, complete with a lounge and play area for kids. We also have a second location in Sudbury at Crossfit Union. In addition to our two locations, we offer a variety of mobile classes state and nationwide.
Julia Walderzak is the founder of H2K Happy Healthy Kids Fitness Studio. H2K is a unique fitness studio that specializes in non-competitive fitness for children and families. They offer kids yoga, kids zumba, kids kickboxing, kids circuit training, mom and baby yoga, zumba with your toddler, teen classes, camps and healthy birthday parties.
Julia began her career as a corporate event planner, but felt unfulfilled. As a child, she struggled with her weight and hated competitive sports, so she taught herself how to get fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle in other, non-competitive, ways. Knowing there is a huge population of children and families that are currently struggling with the same issues she had overcome, Julia developed the concept for H2K. H2K was created in hopes of helping these families, who have been under-serviced in the past, learn how to live happy, healthy lives.
Julia currently has her 4th degree red belt in Tai kwon Do and also has certifications in zumba, kids zumba, kickboxing, and kids and teen yoga. H2K is slated to open its 2nd location this fall in Arlington, MA. It’s first location is located in Sudbury, MA.
Zumba Kids junior combines fast and slow rhythms for children ages 4-7 yrs using an aerobic/fitness approach. With a combination of dance, games, and peer performance your child will learn leadership, respect, team work, pride, confidence, responsibility, cordination, balance, and be able to express their inner creativity.
Join us for our amazing Teeny Tiny Yogis class. This class is designed to guide your baby through yoga poses to help with body development and to help soothe the baby. Your Teeny Tiny Yogi will lie mostly on their back, stomach and in the arms of their Yogi Mommy. This class will provide an amazing bonding experience with mom and baby. Feel free to relax with other moms in our lounge after class.
Kids Cardio Kickboxing will teach your child self-defense, self-confidence and discipline in a fun and safe environment. Kickboxing will improve flexibility, coordination, strength, concentration and allow them to work out any daily frustrations.
Active soles is a movement and music program for children to increase their appetite for physical fitness and music. Each 45 minute session is a tailored lesson plan for each specific age level and enhances cognitive development, gross motor and fine motor skills. Fitness, music, obstacle courses, dance, brain, gym and more!!
Zumba Kids combines fast and slow rhythms for children ages 8-12 yrs using an aerobic/fitness approach. With a combination of dance, games, and peer performance your child will learn leadership, respect, team work, pride, confidence, responsibility, cordination, balance, and be able to express their inner creativity.
CCOF is a new and unique way for children to learn team building exercises and skills. Through obstacle courses, mini circuit training, and all kinds of games, there will be a little something for everyone. Kids will build self-confidence and endurance. At the end of each class, each child will be responsible for updating their weekly exercise chart and are encouraged to meet fitness goals.
Jam Time is a class for young dancers. The students will be exposed to creative movement by exploring a variety of dance genres. This is a high energy, fun, creative class for young children who love to be active.

An Exploration of The Performing Arts: (I.e., Dramatic Play)
This class is led by an instructor with a Master’s Degree in education with creative arts integration.
Explore the performing arts in a developmentally appropriate and fun manner! Right from birth, children are actively observing the world around them, and learning awareness of self and others. The Level 1 class balances imagination and creativity with an interdisciplinary approach to hands on, experiential, and task-based learning. Dramatic play, creative movement, music, stories, rhythm, bright visuals and manipulatives will encourage your child to gain confidence in their newfound mobility, and practice with their developing tools of communication and self-expression. Parent or Caregiver participation required.
This fun and energetic class is designed specifically for young adults. While it is still as challenging as an adult Kickboxing class, the music is upbeat, hip and specifically selected to create a unique and dynamic atmosphere. Teens will learn self-defense, self-confidence and also learn the benefits of meditation.
Teen Zumba Fitness Party combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobic/fitness approach to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. Teens are in a safe, fun environment and don’t have to worry about dancing in the same class as their moms!
Partner with your little one for animated yoga poses, games, music and breathing exercises that help to strengthen coordination and build body awareness. This fun class is a great opportunity for bonding with your child while strengthening their growing muscles and yours!! This class is perfect for moms or dads.
Just like our Family and Me Yoga junior you will explore a variety of poses with your child in a fun and safe environment. This class is geared towards older children, ages 7 and up. Come experience an amazing work while giving the gift of fitness to your child. This class is perfect for moms or dads.
Join us for our dynamic family Zumba series! Dance around with your little Zumba star to fun and energetic music. Play games and laugh while squeezing in a fun, quick workout!
Bring your whole family for an 1hr of fitness fun. Learn punches, kicks and self-defense! We will have non-contact sparring, relay races and boxing drills. At the end of class we will have mediation and work on healthy goals. Make sure to bring water, wear comfy clothes and be prepared to sweat.
Candlelight yin yoga is a nice complement to the end of your busy day. Yin yoga gives your body a chance to stretch whether if it’s been sitting all day in one position or continuously running around. With Candlelight Yin yoga slip into an atmosphere that is calming to your mind.
Alleviate some of the discomforts of pregnancy and prepare for childbirth with Hatha yoga, a combination of postures, breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques. Prenatal yoga provides additional benefits for pregnant women and their babies such as increasing strength and flexibility while improving sleep and reducing stress. Prenatal yoga classes will also help you meet and bond with other pregnant women and prepare for the stress of being a new parent.
Shari RYT 200hr, completed her hatha yoga training at Yoga For Life with Abby Schwab and yin yoga training with Josh Summers. She has been practicing and receiving the benefits of yoga since 2000 and meditation since 1978. Shari is also the founder of Cocoa Plum Nutrition.
Katherine graduated from Boston University with a Masters of Education in Coaching Principles and Sports Psychology and received her Bachelors in Psychology at Wheaton College. Katherine is NASM– Certified Personal Trainer, Pre/Post Natal Exercise Certified, and a USA Track & Field Level I & II Jumps and Combined Events Coach. When Katherine is not training clients, she can be found playing with her energetic son, running with him in a jogging stroller, and working out with her husband. KATHERINE’S CREDENTIALS: National Academy of Sports Medicine- Personal Trainer, American Council of Exercise– Pre/Post Natal Exercise Certified, 2010 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III, Indoor Track & Field Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year, NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy, Olympic Training Center.
Celeste LeMieux is a certified 500 hr Kripalu Yoga instructor who has been teaching since 1997. She has been specialising in prenatal and postpartum yoga since 2002 and children’s yoga since 2006 when she became a certified Itsy Bitsy Yoga instructor. She taught many classes for Isis Parenting for 10 years and continues to teach at MIT, Harvard Vanguard, Healthworks and the BCAE. Celeste is passionate about supporting women in the childbearing year and beyond thru the practice of yoga, so they can be as happy and healthy as they can be for themselves and their families. She also really loves doing yoga with children to give them a fun and creative outlet for developing strength, coordination, balance and focus and as a way for them to develop self estem and express themselves uniquely.
Marcie has a Master’s in Elementary Education with Creative Arts Integration, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a focus on movement, music, and play therapy. Marcie has a dance minor and studied at NYU’s musical theater conservatory. She has spent over a decade working in Boston as an elementary school teacher, nanny, camp counselor, tutor, and children’s musical choreographer, and currently designs and implements music, art, and drama curriculum for children ages infant through teen. As a singer/songwriter, Marcie has made a name for herself in the dance music scene with top 10 releases worldwide. She writes and performs music for an interactive online English language program for Mandarin speaking students. Marcie’s songs and interactive activities stimulate children’s creativity and support self-expression through music, art, and play. Kids laugh, dance, jump, and learn alongside colorful props, puppets, and stories. Marcie’s energetic approach is ideal for school events, fairs, festivals, libraries, fun-filled birthday parties, playgroups, and more. Suzanne has a love for kids and for yoga, so teaching at H2K is a joy! She has her 200-hour yoga certification from Charlotte Yoga (in Charlotte, NC) completed in 2008 with Grace Morales and MyLinda Morales. She has trained and practiced with a number of great teachers including Rolf Gates, Stephanie Keach, Michael Johnson, Christine Navarro, and Johnna Smith. She has her master’s degree in Community Counseling from UNC Charlotte with a specialization in play therapy. She worked as a school-based mental health therapist at an elementary school and loved pairing traditional mental health interventions with the fun and healing practices of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and breath work. Her classes at H2K integrate yoga philosophy and traditional postures in a fun, playful way that challenges both adults and children to stretch their minds and bodies!
Movement has always been a part of Nicole’s life, as she has journeyed from dancer to movement therapist to yogi. Nicole has a passion for whole body wellness: the ability to connect mind, body, and spirit through breath and movement. She continuously strives to let go of the internal chatter and external distractions, and just simply be. Nicole completed her 500 hr. Yoga Teacher Training under the guidance of Daniel Orlansky and teaches in the Greater Boston area. She is certified in Vinyasa Yoga, Meridian Yoga, Thai Yoga Message,Yoga Nidra, and Childlight Yoga. As she works to deepen her practice, Nicole is looking forward to sharing her energy, enthusiasm, and passion for yoga with the H2K community!

Get your groove on with this Latin-themed Zumba dance and movement class. 90 minutes of dance and exercise with H2K Happy Healthy Kids Fitness Studio followed by 90 minutes of Spanish activities with Yak Academy. Snack provided. Camp runs from February 16-20.
Young Yogis Summer Party!
Have your little one join us every day for a new magical yoga adventure! We will travel the world with poses, breath work and games. Each morning we will begin our journey with mediation, followed by a 45 min yoga adventure. We will break to eat a healthy and yummy snack. We will close our party with fun games and a craft related to our yoga adventure.

This summer party is specifically designed for your older yogi. Each afternoon will begin with meditation followed by a 60 min yoga class. Little Kids Kickboxing Summer Party!
Have your little one join us for the best kick class around! Each morning will begin with mediation followed by a super fun 45 min kickboxing class. During class, your child will learn self-defense, discipline and get an awesome workout. After class we will have a healthy and yummy snack, play games and close the afternoon with a craft and meditation.
Cardio Kickboxing Summer Party!
Join this summer party for the best summer work out! Each afternoon will begin with meditation followed by a 60 min Kickboxing class. During class, each student will learn self-defense, discipline, and kickboxing combinations that range from beginners to advance. Each class will have partner drills and obstacle courses. We will break for a healthy and yummy snack and spend the rest of the afternoon working on a creative activity related to heath and mind body awareness.

“I just recently started attending H2K Happy Healthy Kids Fitness Studio and I am in love! Don’t be deceived by the word ‘Kids’ because this fitness studio offers adult classes too! I have attended several kickboxing classes with Julia (the owner) as the instructor and she is fabulous! The kickboxing class is designed in a way that ensures you are getting in a great workout, but while having lots of fun along the way. Julia brings great positivity and energy to her classes while being mindful of building your confidence and offering lots of encouragement.
